Thanks to everyone for a great March meeting. We had a great time 
learning the steps to take when landscaping/designing our backyards from
Master Gardner Elaine Froneberger, and we celebrated St. Patrick's Day
with yummy green treats including delicious cupcakes from Texas Cupcake Co. Also, thank you to our generous sponsor Rebecca Nelson (and Gleannloch resident) with Prudential Gary Greene Realtors for hosting our event.

The April meeting is going to be a  stand out with author Wendy Hunsaker giving us tips on how to entertain using the 5 senses. As a professional speaker, Wendy will reveal how to create party magic with sights, sounds, smells, tastes and textures that make an event SENSEational. A big thank you goes to Ryland Homes for allowing us to use their gorgeous model home in the new Northlake section for this meeting. You will also be able to purchase Wendy's book and have it autographed.

Upcoming Events

Go Green Gleannloch
April 21st - 9 am - 12 pm at the Rec Center on Gleannloch Forest Dr. Come celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day and help "re-green" our wonderful neighborhood. This event will be fun for the whole family with food from Chick-fil-A, various children's activities, booths with eco-friendly information and fantastic raffle prizes. The Women's Club will be selling trees to re-plant and re-green some of the trees that were lost during last summers drought. 

30 gal tree - $295
45 gal tree - $425
Optional engraved granite tree plaque - $70 

The purcahsed trees will be planted around the community in common areas for everyone to enjoy. The granite marker can be used to dedicate the tree to a family member, friend, company, organization, etc.

Merlot 2 Masterpiece
Coming soon.... Get ready for a fabulous, fun night out with friends at Merlot 2 Masterpiece on the corner of Cypresswood and Stuebner -Airline. They will provide paint, canvas, brushes and everything we will need for our paint party. Bring your favorite eats and a bottle of wine or refreshment of choice.
